 Serve Team Safari
Our journeys bring hope & change lives!

Zimbabwe - June 2022

Are you interested in coming on a trip to Africa where you can help impact the lives of orphans and at-risk children? Without help, these orphans, street kids, at-risk children and vulnerable women (widows, HIV+ single mothers, elderly grandmothers caring for their orphaned grandchildren) have NO HOPE for the future! This is your opportunity to help change their world. You can make a difference by touching one child or woman at a time with lots of love, hugs, and smiles. You can show them that there are people who genuinely care and are willing to put the love of Christ in their lives into action.
In 2019, we built a "Bridge School" for orphans and vulnerable children. In 2020 we started building a kitchen for these vulnerable children so they can have one nutritious meal a day. In 2022, we will be back working in these 2 areas:
1. We will conduct another mini medical clinic and have a children's outreach back at the Bridge School site in Epworth, Harare. We need medical personnel for the clinic -- doctors, nurses, dentists, and more! We also need people who can count to help with packing medicines; we need counselors; and we need people to help with the children's outreach (primarily focusing on orphans and vulnerable children).
2. Construction team who will be remodeling a shipping container into a 2 roomed mini medical clinic that will be on site.
WE NEED YOU! Will you consider coming?

What skills & services are needed?

  • Trades peoples who can help with building wood walls, installing a pitched "iron-sheet" roof, finishing the interior, installing doors and windows, and completing a floor.
  • Medical professionals like doctors, nurses, dentists, counselors
  • General  laborers
  • Logistics, crafts
  • Teachers/children's workers
  • Anyone willing to help
  • Greatest skills needed are the abilities to love children, care for hurting people, and being willing to invest your life in others!

After leaving The Hide, we will return to Victoria Falls where you will have ample opportunity to visit the Falls (price included) and shop.
